Join us for a creative 2 hour class and create your own hand built sipper, straw tumbler or mug! This is a great opportunity to find out if the world of clay is a hidden passion that has yet to be discovered. You will receive step by step instruction, hand building and underglazing techniques. Upon completion, your piece will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks from the date of the class.

In this class, students will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. The class is a hands-on experience with the instructor, where you learn the correct form and pressure to handle spinning clay. Each student makes two bowls and gets to decorate them on the wheel in class using underglazes. The instructor will finish off the piece with trimming, glazing, and two firings. The student will be able to pick up their bowls two weeks after class. The finished bowls are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Students must be age 10(+). 1 session, 1-1.5 hours.

Join us for a creative 2 hour class and create 2 berry/veggie baskets! You start with a slab of clay, cut out the shape from our template, put together and decorate! Create functional baskets to put your fresh produce in and have a beautiful piece of pottery you made! The baskets will be fired and glazed, ready for pick up 2 weeks from the date of the class. They will be dishawasher safe.

In this class, the instructor will do a demonstration, and make one cup with you. Then you will get to make an additional cup on your own with assistance as needed. You will sign or stamp your pieces and then choose one studio glaze for your collection of work which will be glazed after firing. If there is any additional time during the class, you can practice making coils and perhaps make another piece or decorate the pieces you’ve made!

Join us and make your very own charcuterie board! You will start with a pre-rolled slab that you can manipulate, shape, add patterns and decorations! Your board will be fired and glazed, ready for pick up 2 weeks from the date of class.

Kids Classes are 3 hours.

Name Sign

In this class, kids will make a name sign for their room! They will start with a slab of clay and then cut out letters and designs to decorate their name plate with!

Pinch Pot Animals/Monsters

In this class, kids will make a pinch pot and create an animal or monster! They will learn the pinch pot technique and add coils and decorations to their pot! They will paint it in class.

Tick Tack Toe Board

In this class, kids will make a tick tack toe board using slabs of clay. They will create a board and pieces to play with and paint it in class.

Luminary

In this class, kids will create a luminary! They will each receive a pre-rolled slab of clay, cut out shapes and designs, and put the luminary together. They will paint it in class.

Each piece will be fired and glazed, ready for pick up 2 weeks after class.
