Join us for a creative 2 hour workshop and create your own hand built mug! This is a great opportunity to find out if the world of clay is a hidden passion that has yet to be discovered. You will receive step by step instruction, hand building and glazing techniques, and inspiration from Morgan Janssen. Upon completion, your piece will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks from the date of the workshop.

In this class, students will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. The class is a hands-on experience with the instructor, where you learn the correct form and pressure to handle spinning clay. Each student makes two bowls and gets to decorate them on the wheel in class using underglazes. The instructor will finish off the piece with trimming, glazing, and two firings. The student will be able to pick up their bowls two weeks after class. The finished bowls are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Students must be age 10(+). 1 session, 1-1.5 hours.

Learn to make your very own pinch pot in this fun one hour Mother’s Day special workshop. You can make it a mug, bowl, or planter. You will have the opportunity to decorate your pinch pot with stencils, stamps, and pasta alphabet letters. Celebrate the mother in your life!

Your pinch pots will be ready for pick up 7-10 days later.
